The Magazine Committee of the Department of Law, University of Calcutta (Stylised as MagCom, DOLCU), is a student-led initiative dedicated to nurturing intellectual exploration and creativity through its biannual publication, “The Muses.” With a focus on sparking thought and promoting multidisciplinary thinking among law students, the committee serves as a catalyst for innovative perspectives and ideas.

The functioning of the committee continues to be driven by a committed team of members. The leadership is currently headed by our Joint Secretaries, Sampriti Mistry and Sneha Maji.
The creative direction of the committee is led by our Creative Head, Souvik Das.
The Executive team comprises Amitava Das, Ananya Ray, and Kathamrita Ray, who form the backbone of our operations and ensure the smooth execution of all initiatives.
The General Members—Harshita Prasad, Suneha Adhya, Afreen Nishat, Rupsa Mandal, Sagnik Das, Subibek Biswas, and Devasmita Mallik —bring energy and consistency to the committee’s day-to-day functioning.
